Magiana, the Man-Made Pokemon

This is a really odd Pokemon, both appearance-wise and character-wise. It's a mechanical creature made by man 500 years ago, a time where you definitely wouldn't see that kind of technology.  It's set to appear in the movie, and Volcanion is the only one to know something that everyone else doesn't know and is going after it. Seeing Volcanion's hatred towards humans and that Magiana is made by humans, it raises even more questions about the Steam Pokemon (at least in this movie).

Its typing is not known, but I guess it's a Steel type and maybe some other to go with it. What's also interesting that it has a blue and red circle, kind of like Zygarde's complete forme.

You know, I might draw it meeting Diancie, maybe in gijinka form XD

Questions:
1. Do you think Magiana is a new gen Pokemon, or a new addition to this gen, seeing how small the amount of 6th gen Pokemon is right now?

2. Would Magiana appear in the possible XY sequels? Even if it's new gen, Pokemon like Bonsly and Munchlax appeared in games before Gen 4, including Gale of Darkness and Mystery Dungeon

3. What do you think is up with Magiana and her purpose of its creation?
