Define Fetish

  After recovering from his injuries from yesterday, Kamek gets up and prepares for his mornings. Then, he still remembered what happened last night when he met Flara. He still memorized what she has said to herself, her being something called a “fetish spirit”. He’s been wondering if Bowser would be pleased with a plan he thought of involving her. He rushed through the many hallways and eventually reached his throne room, “Your highness! I have thought of something that might benefit us!”. However, Bowser, sitting on his throne, is busy playing his portable video game. “Your savageness? Uh, your scariness!?”, Kamek shouted to get Bowser’s attention, but Bowser actually seemed to be purposely ignoring him. Kamek rushed near Bowser and turned off his console.

  “Hey, what gives Kamek!?”, Bowser yelled in rage, “I was about to get a high score! I was about to beat something that’s easier beat those pesky plumbers then you had to come by and ruin my chance!”.

  “Woah, calm down there Kingliness!”, Kamek said already panicking from Bowser’s anger, “I thought of something that can completely benefit you! And calm your temper down, you might burst a blood vessel!”.

  Bowser slowly loses his anger and becomes calm, “Okay, but this better be good”.

  “All right. Last night, when I was flying through the sky to Dark Land, I found this light, and it’s actually a human being. And if that’s not enough, she’s what she refers herself as a fetish spirit! When I heard that word, I knew she’d be great for something that we can do”, Kamek explained.

  However, Bowser lost track of Kamek’s explanation upon the word fetish, “Fetish? What’s a fetish? Sounds like a brand name for some kind of relish. You know, I don’t see how it benefits all of us, it does sound great for me at least. You gotta admit, the hamburgers and hot dogs do taste great with that kind of stuff along with ketchup or some other meat-“.

  “No your hungriness, it’s not a relish”, Kamek then tries to correct him, “A fetish! Remember the star rod? A fetish is a mystical object with supernatural powers that can be attributed with some stronger entity and what I met is a living fetish, like the star rod attributing the star spirits. Think about it Bowser, that spirit also mentioned other spirits from another dimension so that woman knows something about it. If we get the woman to talk, then we may find the dimension and I find those entities, we may get help from someone powerful than us”.

  Bowser thought to himself about the “whole entity talk”, imagining Mario and Luigi being struck by various powers, turning them into ashes along with taking over the Mushroom Kingdom. He also thought of himself overthrone the leader and take over the dimension. After thinking about this, Bowser was satisfied with Kamek’s idea, “All right then, let’s find that woman and see if she really knows something about her home”. Bowser then runs out of his room, with Kamek catching up to him, and already he’s on his Koopa Clown Car, “So Kamek, where is this woman?”.

  As Kamek went on his broomstick, the question already got him puzzled, “Huh, to be honest… I have no clue”. His response gave Bowser an angry, yet disgruntled face at him. “Eh, you know what?”, Bowser said, “Let’s just go around the place looking for her. Besides, the search will be worth it once we found her”. Kamek felt relieved and then followed Bowser to the sky, flying above to search for Flara.
