Paraphillia
Chapter 4
Lawana and a Warrior

During the sisters’ sleep, a sound from the distant outdoors was heard. More sounds occur and afterwards woke Lawana up. Lawana, who hasn’t got enough sleep, went outside and tries to find where the sounds are coming from. She hears thumping along metal clanging each other, as if there was a sword fight. She didn’t want to leave Tallulah alone in the house, but for the sake of her safety, she left without her, going there on her own through the forest. Still not knowing much of Paraphillia, she fears what might appear after knowing that the place doesn’t have the “everyday” animals she usually knows, especially the Clawstrix that attacked her earlier. The sounds become louder and clearer, now knowing she’s getting closer to the source. When she’s trying to peek through the tall grass, a familiar creature was shot to a nearby tree knocking it unconscious. She then walked up to it for a closer look, and upon seeing it she jumped a bit in fear, realizing it’s a Clawstrix.

She then looked back where it’s shot from and saw a guy in armor and two big shields attached to his fists. Lawana remembered the story Akira told her earlier, it’s the “shieldsman” that fights the Clawstrix. To Lawana’s surprise, she actually finds him handsome than how she imagined him during the storytelling, in which she imagined just the “typical tough knight looking guy”. She just keeps watching him fight the creatures. He managed to punch a few with his shields, with are attached to his hands and managed to dodge their attacks swiftly. Lawana watches until the battle just ended shortly. The man walked away, leaving the Clawstrix knocked out at the open field. Lawana, out of curiosity, decided to follow him, wanting to know where he came from. Trying to sneak behind him, she hides behind the many trees and tall grass, always ending up make rustling sounds. Much to her relief, he doesn’t seem to bother checking around what’s near him. Lawana took one more step, and then suddenly tripped on a vine. Lawana looked back, seeing the vine wrapping around her ankle. She tried to struggle to get out, but both of her ankles were wrapped up, with a plant like creature revealing itself. “N-no! Don’t eat me!”, Lawana cried out. Remembering the man, she tried to call out for help, hoping that he’s not too far away to hear her please, but no response. She then felt an itchy feeling on the sole of her feet.

She looked at the creature again, seeing it using its vines tickling her feet. She started to laugh as it continues to torment her soles. It then tickles all over her feet, coughing to laugh hysterically. She remembered the time when Tallulah tried to sneak in some tickles after tickling her the day before. Since that day, Net tried to do that, probably because Tallulah told him about that, even though she doesn’t understand the concept of a fetishist. All Lawana can do now is just accepting the torture and keep laughing. More vines appeared and starts tickling all over. She never experienced this much tickling before, well considering that it is indeed an abnormal creature, not some human being like her sister and Net. At a few points, she just flails around and tries to kick the vines off, but no avail as she expected from being in a situation like this.

The creature smiled at the sight, for a creature with no eyes oddly enough. Suddenly, the creature was slashed by a silver-light wave, stopping Lawana’s tickling. Lawana breathes for air, with her toes twitching from the tickling, and then looked up, and sees that it’s the man from before. “You okay?”, said the man pulling Lawana up from the ground, “The creature is pretty uncommon in this area”. “I’m fine, thanks”, Lawana said, “So you must be the ‘shieldsman’ that a friend of mine told me”. “Oh, yeah”, the man said, “I’m kind of famous around these parts of the area and-”. The man paused for a moment and looked down at Lawana’s feet, seeing how incredibly dirty they are, “You walked all the way here barefoot? No wonder why that creature attacked you”. “Huh?”, Lawana then seemed confused by his statement. The man hesitantly turned around and proceeded to go back on his path, “Oh, nothing. It’s too complicated, along that it doesn’t seem to be a good time around here to talk about it. Maybe someday in the future. Oh and next time, get some shoes to wear or something”. He then dashed forward at swift speed. “Of wait!”, Lawana shouted as she wanted to ask him for his name, but he already left the place, leaving her disappointed that she never got to know him that much. She took the same path she went from Akira’s house and silently walked in the house. She then heard a familiar voice from upstairs, “Come on you, get off! Every time this had to happen!”. It’s the voice of the shieldsman, and much to her hesitance, she rushed upstairs and hears the sounds from Akira’s room. When she arrived, he was not there, only to find Akira lying down on the bed. Disappointed once more, she just quietly shut the door open, not knowing Akira was still awake, waiting for Lawana to leave the room. Akira sighed in relief, “That was close”.
