Yep, Barry lost to Burgundy... He LOST TO BURGUNDY...

While traveling, the gang encounter Burgundy, and much to Cameron and Barry's surprise, Georgia knew her. Burgundy made cocky remarks about her actually improving. "Last time I checked, you were pathetic in battling", Georgia recalled. Barry decided to battle, however, the gang was introduced to fairy types, in which Burgundy sends out Granbull. Barry uses Heracross. However, he didn't know Fairy types are resistant against its typing, thus losing badly. 

"Wow, she really did improve", Georgia commented

Afterwards, Barry made a personal rivalry toward Burgundy, and also, Georgia became interested in getting a fairy type of her own after Burgundy said that Fairy types are also immuned to and strong against dragon types
