Favorite Mega Pokemon

A list of my favorite mega evolutions

-Charizard Y
A mega of my favorite Kanto starter. Out of the two Charizards, I like this one better. F*ck Stealth Rock, this guy is built as a lead in this mega evolution so he can set up Drought for his own team. The special attack increase is very significant, special defense is increased and helpful against some special water users. The Flamethrower/Heat Wave/Fire Blast and Solarbeam combo is pretty deadly. When it comes to double battles, I recommend pairing it up with Venusaur or Heliolisk ^^

-Kangaskhan
A really liked the concept of the child mega evolving instead of the parent. It's like seeing a child finally teaming up with a parent, hence the ability's name Parental Bond, one of the best abilities. It became bulkier as well and faster in par with common Dragon types(metagames banned it into Uber XD)

-Gyarados
Gyarados couldn't get better than this. It loses its 4x weakness to Electric, a common weakness to Gyarados. Sadly, it gained more weaknesses, but that didn't matter, it became more bulkier than ever. I also liked its design. I tend to use Dragon Dance when I get the chance, and sometimes when I didn't mega evolve it yet. My only gripe is that it can't learn Crunch, which is strange for a creature with a giant mouth

-Aerodactyl
The term "speed demon" really fits this guy, probably one of the best counters for Mega Gengar and normal Alakazam. Tough Claws is really helpful with Crunch and Dragon Claw. I personally taught Sky Drop for Double and Triple Battles, treating the move as a powerful temporary red card for my other Pokemon

-Mewtwo Y
This mega version, IMO, is better than Mewtwo x. It became faster, special attack became higher, special defense became bulkier(more than X's increase), and physical attack as well(though why give it a physical move that when it has Psystrike). Sadly, it's defense is weaker. You can say Mewtwo X is better, but I don't really like it that much. X dropped its dark type weakness and gained bulkier(not by a whole lot though, just 10 stat points). And with the advent of Fairy types, Mega Blaziken, and Gale Wing Talonflame, well... you know(it also looks more or less like Mewtwo... on STEROIDS)

-Tyranitar
Basically Tyranitar, with all of its stats(except Special Attack) increased. With rock types being buffed up by Special Defense increasing sandstorms, it becomes a powerful tank. The mega evolution helps if the sandstorm gets disabled by another ability. He also reminds me of Super Godzilla design wise

-Houndoom
Not that fond with the design, but it's still pretty cool. Nothing much to say, it became faster and powerful

-Blaziken
Not only it's owned by one of the coolest side characters in the anime, but it's probably the better than Charizard Y in a way. It gets Speed Boost, its hidden ability, which made it became an uber Pokemon. Its physical attack also gained a very great change, making Blaze Kick actually helpful and High Jump Kick too. I use it in team battles, giving Protect more reasons to use, other than giving it a freebie to speed up. Personally, I think the other starters should get a mega, especially Sceptile and Feraligatr

-Manectric
Just like Houndoom, but by a bigger extent. It also has Intimidate

-Lucario
Speed and Adaptability... that is all XD

The only thing perplexes me are the lack of mega Unova Pokemon. Why is there none of those?
